Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) Coverage

Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) coverage information has been available by unit postcode and/or household through a number of different web-sites, whereby a customer can identify what digital services are available to them.

By using GIS technology Apogee Data Consulting is able to group DTT coverage into any area that can be defined geographically.  Therefore an overview of the DTT coverage for a larger area can be provided in terms of the proportion of populated areas within the given area predicted to be able to receive it.  For example, the area covered by a particular town or parliamentary constituency.  Alternatively data can be provided for the whole of Great Britain but broken down into smaller areas such as postcode sectors, postcode districts or counties.

Alternatively the DTT coverage within a user specified radius of a particular location can also be analysed.  This is of particular use to retailers since it will enable them to identify their potential market local to each of their stores.  Simply provide Apogee with a list of postcodes for each store and the distance from store that you would like analysed.

Individual multiplexes or the PSB multiplexes can also be extracted for analysis.
